The Freedom Letters
A year long, private mentorship to rebuild your relationship with yourself - one honest email at a time.
My most intimate, personal mentorship - delivered quietly, through your inbox.
No group calls.
No performance.
Just you and me, in a steady weekly rhythm that helps you remember who you are, what you want, and how to trust yourself again.
This is for you if you're the one at the top.

You' re a founder, leader or C-Suite exec. On paper, it looks like you're winning. And yet, behind the scenes:
You’re mentally running the business 24/7, even when you’re technically “off”
You second-guess decisions you’re meant to be confident about – strategy, people, money, your own next move
You second-guess decisions you’re meant to be confident about – strategy, people, money, your own next move
You feel consistently over-responsible: for the team, the numbers, the home life, everyone’s emotions
You’ve lost touch with what you actually want, outside of targets and obligations
You know you can hold everything together – but you’re not sure how long you can hold yourself together at this pace
You've tried performance coaching, business strategy or success programmes and they helped but didn't quite shift the quiet, persistent sense of:
"I can't fully trust myself. And I'm tired of carrying that around and holding myself back."
If you sometimes feel like you’re bobbing around in a sea of decisions, responsibilities and expectations, The Freedom Letters are your anchor.
What we're really doing here
This isn’t about optimising you into a higher-performing machine. It’s about:
Rebuilding self-trust at the level where your decisions are actually made – in your nervous system, not just your head
Closing the gap between what you say matters (health, family, integrity, creativity) and what your calendar and bank account show
Untangling your identity from the role so you can see where the business ends and you begin
Creating one discrete place where you can drop the leadership mask and tell the truth, without managing anyone else’s reaction
When you consistently have that space, week after week, these things start to happen:
Decisions become cleaner, faster, and less loaded
You stop outsourcing your self-worth to revenue, valuation, title, or board approval
You build a relationship with yourself that feels like an ally, not a critic
What happens in the letters?
Weekly reflective questions - tailored to leaders
Every week, I send you a focused prompt or set of questions, designed specifically for someone in a position of responsibility.
They help you:
See the patterns behind your leadership style, money decisions, and boundaries
Spot where you override your own knowing in favour of “keeping the peace” or “being strategic”
Notice the stories you’re carrying about success, failure, risk, and rest
Articulate what you actually want next – for you, not just for the business
To trust yourself is to know you self. These questions help you do both – in language that makes sense to leaders, not teenagers with a journal.
You read them in your own time. No pressure, no homework guilt. Just honest reflection.
A weekly written check-in from you
Once a week, you reply by email.
You share:
What’s working – in you, not just the numbers
What isn’t – where you feel off, stuck or resentful
What decisions or situations are weighing on you
What you want support with or clarity on
This doesn’t need to be polished or long.
10 minutes of honest writing is enough.
This is often the only place in a leader’s week where they tell the unedited truth.
A personalised written response from me
Every week, I read your words slowly and carefully.
And I write back.
No templates.
No automation.
No team.
Just me – with 25 years in finance and leadership roles (FD, MD, boardroom) and a decade in deep personal development – reflecting you back to yourself.
My responses usually include:
Questions that get under the surface of “the issue” and into what’s actually running it
Observations about your patterns, language, leadership and coping strategies
Clarity prompts that make your next step obvious and manageable
Resources or practices where they’re genuinely useful – not just more things to do
I don’t:
Fix you
Give you a script to follow
Tell you what your goals should be
I do:
See exactly who you are – your gifts, patterns, power and blind spots – with zero judgement
Reflect it back in a way you can feel, not just understand intellectually
Help you anchor into a clearer direction: what you stand for, what you want, and what that means for the way you lead and live
You don’t struggle with understanding.
This work lands in your nervous system, not just your mind.
What starts to change over a year?
I see exactly who you are - your gifts, patterns and power - with zero judgement.
I reflect it back to you in a way that you can finally feel - not just intellectually understand. (You don’t struggle with understanding. This lands in your nervous system.)
I help you anchor into a clearer direction - what you want, what you stand for and what that means for the actions that you take.
Leaders experience this work in different ways. But common changes from my clients have included:
Decisions feel cleaner – less looping, less seeking reassurance, more grounded “this is my call”
You stop sacrificing yourself for the business and the important people in your life in ways that quietly breed resentment and burnout
Your relationship with money and success becomes less anxious and more adult – you run the numbers, they don’t run you
You catch yourself earlier when you’re about to say a “yes” you don’t mean, avoid a conversation, or override a red flag
Your inner dialogue softens – which changes how you speak to your team, your family, and yourself
You start making moves that are aligned with your values and timing, not just what looks impressive from the outside
You notice yourself feeling happy for no particular reason. Some days feel joyful and on the less than pleasing days, there is a realisation that it's just life not that you're doing something wrong

This is not about blowing up your life or walking away from everything.
It’s about becoming the kind of founder, leader or executive who can hold big responsibility without abandoning themselves in the process.

Is this right for you?
This is for you if:
You are a founder, business owner, senior leader, or C‑suite exec
You’re ready to be honest – even if you’re not ready to be loud or public about it
You value depth over drama and consistency over quick fixes
You’re willing to engage with the emails and stay in the room with yourself for a year
You understand that the responsibility for the choices you make lies with you
This is not for you if:
You want someone to tell you exactly what to do and then hold you to it
You’re looking for a high-energy program, group hype, or a rapid “life overhaul”
You’re not ready to take responsibility for your inner world, as much as you do for your outer one
